Richard A. Ruiz, MD, believes strongly in the 'family doctor' model and that the strong personal bonds that are developed with patients are unique to family medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed an internship at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He completed his residency at Research Family Medicine in Kansas City.
