When you partner with a midwife at Specialists in Women’s Care, our top priority is to make you feel comfortable, heard and supported throughout your care plan. The midwives provide comprehensive midwifery services, from pregnancy to childbirth, and gynecologic services to women in Kansas City and Overland Park.

Our nurse midwives work closely with our board-certified OB/GYN physicians to ensure the safety of you and your baby. They have advanced nursing degrees specializing in midwifery and are board-certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board. Whether you desire an unmedicated/low intervention childbirth or one with pain management options, we respect your birth choices and offer the following to patients in Overland Park and Kansas City:

OB Graduate Medical Education

Specialists in Women's Care - Overland Park, is the home to the HCA Midwest Health ACGME accredited resident clinic. Our goal is to train the next generation of obstetrician-gynecologists and Overland Park Regional Medical Center is proud to serve as a teaching facility for these resident physicians who are pursuing a specialty in obstetrics and gynecology.

These newly licensed physicians work hand-in-hand with our skilled attending physicians, Dr. Kimberly Swan, Program Director and Dr. Annie Reising, Associate Program Director, to provide excellent care, with the attention patients deserve.
