About Punit Goel

Dr. Punit Goel is a board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with Midwest Heart & Vascular Specialists in Olathe and Overland Park, Kan. He is affiliated with Menorah Medical Center and Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Dr. Goel has more than 20 years of experience and treats conditions including valve disease, aortic aneurysm, arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation and others. He performs procedures including ablation, non-interventional cardiology including stress testing, echocardiography, cardioversion, pacemaker implantation and testing, and diagnostic cardiac catheterization. Dr. Goel has served as an assistant professor in cardiology and co-director of the cardiology fellowship program for University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics. He has authored numerous abstracts, papers and articles, is a journal reviewer for the Journal of General Internal Medicine and a past member of the editorial board for the Journal of Invasive Cardiology. Dr. Goel is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
