About H William Stites, III

H. William Stites III, MD, FACC is a tenured heart specialist with subspecialty certification in both cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Stites has extensive experience in both private practice and academic settings and served as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine. Dr. Stites is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the Council on Clinical Cardiology. Additionally, he is a longstanding member of the Heart Rhythm Society (formerly NASPE). Dr. Stites has extensive experience in ablation therapy for all forms of SVT and VT including symptomatic PVC's. He has been involved with catheter ablation for PAF since 1998 and this year introduced cryoballoon ablation to the HCA hospitals in Kansas City.
