About Jerilyn McDermed
Jerilyn McDermed, MSN, AGNP-C, is a committed healthcare professional who offers a breadth of experience, including specialized expertise and training in caring for the elderly, to her patients. Jerilyn maintains a strong patient-centered focus and works to improve the lives of those in her care by addressing their needs holistically. Prior to pursuing her master's in nursing, she served as an ICU nurse, where she was a Daisy award nominee for patient excellence, and as a hospice case manager, known for her dedication to her patients and their families. Jerilyn is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Western Governor's University in Salt Lake City, where she also received her master's in nursing for nursing leadership and management. She received her MSN as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati.
