About Susan Hale

Susan D. Hale, FNP, is a neuroscience nurse practitioner with nearly 10 years of patient care experience. Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Hale is not only skilled at patient care, she is also highly skilled at facilitating communications with patients, their families and physicians to foster the highest possible level of care and optimum outcomes. Prior to serving in the neurosciences field, she was an ICU nurse, where she delivered one-on-one care for critically ill patients. She also has experience in working with orthopedic patients. Hale is a certified instructor in Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) training, and a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses. She received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Research College of Nursing.
