Electronic Medical Records and E-Prescriptions
We are pleased to announce that we are converting paper medical records to Electronic Medical Records. As a practice of Midwest Physicians, part of the HCA Midwest Health System, we will be among the first HCA practices in the nation to deploy an all-electronic, or digital, medical record environment. You will notice your caregivers making computerized notes rather than paper notes. We will also be able to send your prescriptions directly to your participating pharmacy.

Faisal Ahmad, MD
Dr. Faisal Nazir Ahmad is a board-certified internal medicine specialist with more than 10 years of experience. He is a member and fellow of the American College of Physicians. He completed his internship and his residency in internal medicine at the Jersey Shore Medical Center.
Ahmad Al-Mubaslat, MD
Dr. Al-Mubaslat is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and of the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Diabetes Association, the Endocrine Society, the American College of Physicians and is an honorary member in the American Association of Gastroenterology. Dr. Al-Mubaslat completed an internal medicine residency at the Brown University School of Medicine program at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. Following that, he served as the chief medical resident at the Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio, an affiliate of the Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine. He then served a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolic diseases at the Phoenix city-wide endocrine program, based at the Good Samaritan Medical Center and the Phoenix VA Medical Center.
Michael Dahl, MD
Michael Dahl, MD both attended medical school and completed his residency at the University of Kansas. His special interest include diabetes diagnosis and management and hypertension. He performs joint injections and skin lesion removal.
Elliott Franks, MD
Dr. Elliott Franks attended medical school at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and completed his residency at Menorah Medical Center. His special interests include pulmonary diseases.
Jon Horine, MD
Dr. Jon Horine attended medical school at the University of Kansas and completed his residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center (Yale University). He is board-certified in gastroenterology and he performs colonoscopies and esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGDs).
Martha LaPietra, MD
Dr. Martha LaPietra both attended medical school and completed her residency at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Her special interests include gynecology and she performs biopsies and skin lesion removals.
Mary Ann Lillig, DO
Mary Ann Lillig, MD, internal medicine, has joined Midwest Physicians at the Medical Group of Kansas City and will provide care to patients residing in extended care and long term care facilities. Dr. Lillig brings years of experience providing medical services to the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities and long-term care facilities. She has special interest in geriatrics and is board certified with the American Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. Dr. Lillig will be available to provide medical coverage and medical director services for long term care facilities in the Kansas City area.
Radhika Mathur, MD
Dr. Radhika Mathur obtained her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College (Bhopal) and completed a residency in internal medicine at Bridgeport Hospital/Yale University. She is board-certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Mathur has been honored with the Award for Scholarly Activity from the Bridgeport Hospital Science Symposium, the Gold Medal certificate of merit in surgery, biochemistry and anatomy, and she received a National Merit Scholarship from the government of India.
Douglas McKee, MD
Douglas McKee, MD attended medical school at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and completed his residency at Brown University. His special interests include diabetes diagnosis and management of hypertension.
Jill Rosbrugh, MD
Dr. Jill Rosbrugh obtained her medical degree from Loma Linda School of Medicine and completed her fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Madhavi Yarlagadda, MD
Dr. Madhavi Yarlagadda is an endocrinologist who also completed specialized training in geriatrics. In addition, while completing her medical studies, she also served as an infectious diseases research assistant at the University of Maryland Medical System-Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Yarlagadda sees patients at the practices Research Medical Center office locations and other area hospitals. Dr. Madhavi Yarlagadda obtained her medical degree from Osmania Medical College (India). She completed a residency in internal medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital (Pennsylvania), a fellowship in endocrinology at Temple University Hospital, and a short fellowship in geriatrics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York). She is board-certified in internal medicine.

Kim Nagel, NP received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Missouri, Columbia and her master’s degree in nursing from Research College of Nursing in Kansas City. She specializes in internal medicine and has been practicing for more than 8 years. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
