Menorah Medical Center and Johnson County Neurology welcome board-certified general neurologist David F. Clark, MD. Previously residing in Cincinnati, Ohio, the neurologist is now accepting new patients.
With a fellowship-trained neurology background, Dr. Clark studied medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, in Dallas, Tex. He also honed his computer skills when he received a B.S. in Computer Science, magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University, College Station, Tex. Dr. Clark completed his medical residency and a fellowship at the University Hospital in Cincinnati. Licensed and certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the State of Ohio, he is also currently participating in a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship through University Hospital, Cincinnati.
“I look forward to serving the neurological needs of Menorah Medical Center and Johnson County Neurology patients and the Kansas City area,” says Dr. Clark. “This is a wonderful opportunity for me to utilize my professional skills for the benefit of individuals who are faced with complex neurological issues.”
Dr. Clark has performed analyses of several genomes to investigate detection of various regulatory elements, through computational methods; and developed image processing for a Scanning Tunneling Microscopy Lab. Published in the January 4, 2011 issue of Neurology, his 2010 patient case report isolated cerebral zygomycosis in an intravenous drug user.
