The team at the HTC are the only clinicians in the area with hands on experience with all the latest treatment opportunities (link to FDA approved regimens), this is because the clinical trial team has been using these drugs for years before they become FDA approved.
Hepatitis means inflammation of the liver and there are many varieties. The most common forms include Non alcoholic Fatty liver disease (NAFLD) (link)caused by fatty liver, Hepatitis C (link), Hepatitis B (link)and alcoholic hepatitis (link). All forms of hepatitis may lead to the slow replacement of the liver with scar tissue also known as cirrhosis (link). Cirrhosis may lead to liver failure and liver cancer (link). By treating hepatitis before cirrhosis develops these complications are avoided.
